The Tribe
We are a community of Holy Spirit led, mental health informed Christ followers who want to see people have a real and relevant relationship with Jesus.
Jesus Centered
At the core of our identity is a deep commitment to following the teachings of Jesus. His message of love, compassion, and redemption guides everything we do. We strive to emulate his example in our actions, interactions, and the way we support one another on life’s journey.
Community Centric
The Village is more than a congregation; it’s a family. We believe in the strength of community, where individuals find belonging, acceptance, and support. Whether you’re new to the faith or have been on this path for years, there is a place for you here.
A Place of Healing
Life brings challenges that can leave us feeling wounded and weary. Our church is a refuge for those seeking healing, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Through prayer, connection with our mental health counseling center, and the support of our community, we believe in the transformative power of God’s grace to bring about restoration.
Helping people heal through Christ & community.
Christ
We believe that true healing first happens at the cross. Living a full, whole, and abundant life starts with surrendering our lives to Christ. Surrendering is continual and leads to a more enhanced relationship with Jesus.
Healing
We understand the impact our mental health has on every area of life. With Licensed Professional Counselors and certified Mental Health First Aiders in our tribe, The Village is a safe space to heal through connection with our private practice Healing Care Counseling Center.
Community
Our goal is to serve and build community with our neighbors and to disciple and build our tribe so that, collectively, we push forward the gospel message of Christ. Thus, we are all growing in our spiritual relationship together, in unity.
Our Beliefs
At The Village Church, we embrace the following foundational beliefs rooted in our understanding of the Bible. As we grow together in our spiritual relationship with God, we encourage our community to read these affirmations in their entirety.
The Bible
We believe the Bible to be the God-inspired authority & guide of our faith, doctrine & practice.
God
We affirm the existence of one God in three persons. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, and together, they work in perfect unity.
Jesus
We confess the deity of Jesus Christ, his virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial death on the cross, bodily resurrection, and ascension. Jesus is the only way to salvation.
Salvation
We believe in salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Grace is a gift of God, not earned through human effort.
The Holy Spirit
We recognize the Holy Spirit's active role in leading, sanctifying, and empowering believers for a life that honors God. We seek to live in step with the Spirit's guidance.
The Church
The Church is not a building but a community of believers. We are committed to building & serving the community through love, unity, and biblical truth for all within it.
Baptism & Communion
We observe baptism and communion as symbolic acts of obedience and remembrance as they signify our identification with Christ and his work.
The Return of Christ
As one of the central tenants of our faith, we anticipate the physical return of Jesus Christ who will come back for his church, taking us with him.
Meet Our Team
Our Team consists of men and women who love Jesus and love to serve. Individually, the team is comprised of people who are married, single, college graduates, career professionals- the list goes on. Collectively however, they are teachers, encouragers, leaders, and students of God.
